DANIEL H. STOCK

President, CEO, General Counsel

Daniel H. Stock was born into a New York City family of classical musicians and artists. His father, Alexander, was a renowned concert pianist, and his uncles were the famous Piccirilli brothers who carved monumental works of stone leaving their mark on public spaces like the lions outside the New York Public Library (Patience and Fortitude), the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., the pediment of the New York Stock Exchange, and many bas-relief adorning Rockefeller Center.

While opting for a career in law, Dan never lost his passion for the arts and has been a staunch supporter of the New York art, music and dance scene for decades. In his career as an international divorce lawyer, Dan has arranged settlements involving troves of valuable artwork that would otherwise fall under the auctioneer’s gavel.

Dan has advised art curators, musicians and others in the arts on their legal rights and has counseled artists on matters which protect their valuable creations and ensure that revenue that would otherwise be diverted to third parties finds its way to the rightful owners – the people who create art.

Sensing a need to help international collectors who wanted the freedom to relocate their artwork as well as integrate it into their financial plans, Dan formed IAC, where his talents at the intersection of the legal and art worlds are merged to his clients’ greatest advantage.
